Frame Measurements How do you read frame measurements?
Frame sizes can be broken up in four regions of the frame. All measurements are in millimeters.
Eye Size
Also known as "A" Size. This is a horizontal measurement of the lens size for each eye.
DBL
Also known as distance between lenses or bridge width. This is a measured at the neareast point between lenses.
Temple Size
Also known as Arm length. This is the temple length measurement.
B Measurment
This is a vertical measurement of the lens for each eye. This measurment is not normally seen on the frame.
Frames will generally have the eye size, DBL and temple size on the frame itself. It may look like this 50-18-135. Where 50 is the eyesize, 18 is the DBL and 135 is the temple length.
Most of our frame listings will contain the eye size, DBL and temple length and with some models the B Measurement will also be included.
